Registered Agent Services
We provide Registered Agent services for both domestic and foreign companies that need a registered agent in Idaho.
A Registered Agent is an individual that receives "official" mail and deliveries on behalf of a corporation or limited liability company. "Official" mail and deliveries generally means communications from either the Idaho State Corporation Commission or from a Court through service by the county sheriff (of a lawsuit, garnishment for an employee, etc.).
Domestic Companies: The Idaho Code, requires companies formed in Idaho to designate a Registered Agent for such purposes. Many business owners prefer to have a third party like us serve as their registered agent so that they don't have the hassle or distraction of dealing with service of process and potential visits from the sheriff, especially to their home. For a small annual fee, we can take this burden from you.
Foreign Companies: Idaho Code also requires foreign companies (companies that are formed under the laws of a state other than Idaho but that are required to register to do business in Idaho) to also designate a Registered Agent in Idaho. We can also help foreign companies register as a foreign company with the Idaho State Corporation Commission.
Home-Based Businesses: Do you have a business that you operate from your home? Using us as your registered agent can help maintain your privacy. Your registered agent must have an accessible street address and cannot use a P.O. Box or other drop box service. However, your principal office address on file with the State Corporation Commission can be a P.O. Box or similar mail drop location. Therefore, if you operate from your home and don't want your home address to be publicly available from the State Corporation Commission, you can use us as your registered agent (so our address is the one used) and a P.O. Box for your principal office address. Your home address stays out of the State Corporation Commission's database, helping preserve your privacy.

- Fill in our registered agent agreement on the forms page. In your email or on your fax cover sheet, please tell us about your company and whether or not you are currently registered with the Idaho State Corporation Commission.
- Our annual fee to serve as Registered Agent for your company is $100.00. Payment of the fee can be made either by mailing us a check or money order made payable to Columbia Stock Transfer Company to the following address:
